WEATHER ALERT & UTILITY DUE DATE CHANGES*

Friday January 3rd

We are expecting snow in accumulations of a dusting to 3 inches, please take note of our crews out prepping the roadways with salt help make the roadways safer. Please proceed with caution.

This Sunday to Monday we are expecting anywhere from 1-8 inches of inches of snow. Please read the following and plan accordingly:

  • The snowfall will greatly impact driving conditions. Please be prepared for slippery roads and use caution while driving. Slow down and pay close attention to your surroundings.
  • After 1 hour of snowfall, please keep the roadways clear for our town crew and emergency personnel who will be working round-the-clock to keep us safe, especially on the snow route (South Street, Main Street, Commerce Street, and Delaware Street).
  • Due to the severe weather and driving risks, we will be postponing electric bill due dates by exactly one week. This means that instead of the due date being Monday, January 6th, it will be Wednesday, January 8th. Shut off dates will not be affected.
  • If you are going outside, please use caution while walking on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. Surfaces could be slippery and increase the risk of falling. Your safety is our top priority.

Stay safe and thank you for reading!
