Overview
The Smyrna Town Council consists of an elected mayor and six elected council members. The Mayor is elected to one 2-year term, Councilmembers are elected to one 3-year term. Terms are staggered and held elections can be for 2 to 3 seats at a time.
Meetings are the first and third Mondays of each month, at 7p.m., held at Town Hall and on Zoom. If a meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held the following Tuesday.
Message from our Mayor
In order to adequately address the issues of Smyrna and its residents, there are several standing and ad hoc committees. These committees will consist of at least one council member and at least one citizen, appointed by the mayor.
