Town of Smyrna
Helping to Keep You
Smyrna’s public water system is closely monitored and tested by the State of Delaware Office of Drinking Water and by Smyrna’s Water Department employees. There are extensive State and Federal requirements that we must comply with as a public water provider.
We are required to publish an Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. This report gives a full overview of test results done on our system. Copies are available by stopping by Town Hall, by calling 653-9231 and requesting a copy or on-line at www.smyrna.delaware.gov. There are a number of companies who come through the area periodically trying to sell water conditioning systems to homeowners. Some have used “scare tactics” to suggest that our water is harmful to the health of our citizens. If you are approached by such sales pitches, please call Town Hall at 653-9231 and provide the name and phone number of the company so that we can contact them.
We want you to be informed about your water supply and to feel secure about its safety.
Gary F. Stulir, Town Manager
