Town of Smyrna
Helping to Keep You
The Town of Smyrna is proud to be a Complete Community in Delaware. Parks are an important aspect of healthy living and several are maintained for your enjoyment.
The largest park is George C. Wright, Jr. Municipal Park. It is located on N. Main Street, across from North Smyrna Elementary School. It features a skate park, basketball courts, two softball fields, play equipment for children of all ages and picnic facilities.
Lake Como Park offers fishing and boating access year-round. The swimming beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It features a pier, playground, gazebo and picnic area.
Green Meadows Park is on the east side of N. Albright Drive, on the east side of Smyrna. The communities of Sunnyside Village and Bon Ayre, on the south side of Smyrna also include town maintained parks. The parks offer a variety of facilities for children’s play, walking and picnicking.
There is no charge to use any of our parks. Please be kind to your neighbors and clean up after your visit. And, in an effort to keep our parks in the best possible condition, please report broken or damaged equipment, or vandalism, to the Smyrna Police Department at (302)653-9217.
