as part of craft distillery and microbrewery establishments in the Central Commercial (CC), Highway Commercial (HC), and Industrial/Office/Research Park (IORP) districts.
This ordinance clarifies that all food served at microbrewery and craft distillery establishments must be prepackaged or prepared by a licensed food establishment. This ordinance amends the central commercial (CC) district and the industrial/office/research park (IORP) district to allow outdoor seating and gathering areas as part of craft distillery and microbrewery establishments. These areas must be separated from the public rights-of-way by physical barriers and from adjoining properties by physical and visual barriers and shall be subject to the requirements of, and receive the necessary approvals from, the Town and the State. This ordinance establishes maximum occupancy limits for the outdoor seating and gathering areas and requires that all outdoor equipment be properly maintained and secured during non-business hours. This ordinance prohibits vending machines from being located in outdoor seating and gathering areas.
