In an effort to assist residents in cleaning and maintaining their properties, Smyrna will have its Annual Spring Clean-up from April 17th through April 28th, 2017. Please note that there will be ONLY TWO WEEKS of pick-ups.
Town Crews will pick up all items except demolition debris, tires and hazardous materials (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners contain Freon and will not be picked up). Items to be picked up must be set at curbside.
This clean-up is designed for items normally not picked up by the trash contractor such as items from yard cleaning, swing sets, fence posts, trees/brush, carpet, etc. not meeting the four feet/fifty pound limit. Furniture and appliances should still be placed out with your normal household trash for pick up by the trash contractor.
We ask for your patience and cooperation. Due to the quantity of streets and trash to be collected, the crew is unable to accommodate special requests for pick up. Please be assured that the crew will devote as much time as possible to this important service.
All items set out after April 28, 2017 must be in compliance with our normal household trash pickup and yard waste regulations.
