Heritage Winds is the woodwind quintet component of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. As professional Airman-musicians, the members of Heritage Winds are dedicated to using the power of music to honor our veterans, inspire patriotism, communicate the Air Force story, and recruit those who are interested in serving our nation.

Heritage Winds offers innovative programming that covers a wide array of musical styles. The ensemble embraces the full range of the quintet repertoire, while also exploring various instrument combinations. The creative use of ensemble and instrumentation, combined with new arrangements and compositions, ensures that Heritage Winds provides audiences with a unique concert experience.

No tickets or reservations required.  Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The band Nothin' But Trouble is actually no trouble at all. In fact, this band is so versatile and talented you never get bored or tired of seeing them play. If you have to put them in a category, they are an Americana original Blues band. Two lead guitar players Chris McAfee and Joey Fulkerson with a tight rhythm section Steve Taylor on Bass and Bruce Benson on drums. All four of the members sing and write their own music. The only way to describe them... They just flat out play and play very good!!!

Guitar-driven, Americana, original blues band sure to keep your feet moving. Come out and join us for a very special night of music at the Smyrna Opera House. NBT will be performing with the big band for this one! Special guest, Wes Lanich on Keyboard along with the Handcuffed Horn section! featuring Rob and David Kershner.

The Smyrna Opera House is excited to be a part of Smyrna at Night once again!  Be sure to stop by and listen to these three great acts we have lined up!  A bar will be available.

5:45-6:30pm – Genesis Z & the Black Mambas
 6:45-7:45pm – Scot Sax & Suzie Brown
 8:00-9:00pm – Best Kept Secret

The Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps

(All the way from England!)

Tuesday, July 3rd at 7:30pm

The Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps (RDTC) is a youth military style marching band, based in the London Borough of Havering (Romford, Essex) . As one of the oldest independent youth marching bands in the country, it has a proud history with performances throughout the UK, including marching displays, parades, carnivals and concerts. The band’s music portfolio covers a wide breadth including military marches, film themes, popular music and brass classics, often featuring solos from some of the band’s talented musicians across our brass, woodwind and percussion sections. In recent years the band has travelled further and performed in France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Gibraltar and the USA. This year, the band is celebrating its 60th Anniversary!

REUNION BAND

Delaware's Classic Rock and Soul

Friday, August 10th at 7:30pm

REUNION is an eight-piece “Classic Rock’n’Soul” ensemble whose roots are traced to a number of rock’n’roll bands formed in Kent County, Delaware during the mid-late 60’s and early 70’s.

While some members have performed continuously for over three decades, others played during their high school and college years, then paused to build careers and raise families. In 2007, the passion was reignited by the “Dover All-Stars Reunion Concert” in Rehoboth Beach, bringing together over 30 area musicians to re-create the musical magic of the 60’s and 70’s. The Draw, a new band with built-in history, was created and performed from 2008-2011; its too brief run ended after the untimely deaths of two founding members. In late 2012, three of the original members recruited additional talented musicians, and REUNION was born.

You can catch REUNION playing all over the state of Delaware, throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania as well.

Doors open at 6:45pm.  The bar will be open, accepting cash and card.
