Completed applications must be received no later than 4:30 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016 to be considered.
In the areas with heavy leaves, the town will be sending crews around to check periodically until the regular leaf collection begins on October 16th.
Leaves must be bagged at all times between January 1 and October 15th of year.
The Town of Smyrna has a fantastic vacuum machine that the Public Works crews use to pick up loose leaves every fall!
Beginning October 16th through December 31st, when the trees are really dropping their leaves, you will see the crews around Town picking up piles of leaves from curbside.

It was brought to our attention that the electric rates for residential customers was incorrect for the billing months of May, June, July and August.
Residential customers were charged a flat rate of $0.134 for every kilowatt of consumption. The rate should have been $0.134 for the first 500 kilowatts of consumption and any consumption after 500 would be charged at the rate of $0.118.
