The Town of Smyrna will have it's election on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Citizens' Hose Company No. 1, Inc. located at 103 W. Commerce Street in Smyrna, Delaware.

Annual Spring Clean-Up

In an effort to assist residents in cleaning and maintaining their properties, Smyrna will have its Annual Spring Clean-up from April 17th through April 28th, 2017. Please note that there will be ONLY TWO WEEKS of pick-ups.

Town Crews will pick up all items except demolition debris, tires and hazardous materials (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners contain Freon and will not be picked up).  Items to be picked up must be set at curbside.

Hydrant Flushing & Flow Testing

The Town of Smyrna Water Department personnel will be flushing and flow testing fire hydrants between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM on March 14, 15, 16, and 17, 2017 weather permitting.

In case of inclement weather, the flushing will be postponed until March 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2017. This is necessary to purge our water system and to provide quality water to our residents.
